This book has too many typo's and the lab book that goes with it is even worse. This made it very hard to learn from. Even my instructor was confused.

I originally rated this book well after purchasing at Amazon but I was wrong, because after the first chapter the book and lab book stop following each other. The lab book is loaded with misprints and impossible items to program as they state for you to do it, (this is awful for a learner in a class made for the student to figure it out), but is also exceptionally confusing.A good book as written for a beginner is written to be understood by someone who has no prior understanding. If my friends read the first page of my "beginner" book and are as confused as I am about what it said then I know the book is poorly written and it is not from my own lack of understanding. This book begins well but fails miserably the further one gets in it. The lab book should be banned from print. I do not recommend this book or it's companion, the lab book, to anyone.

Great labs to help improve PLC knowledge. Just wish there was more to the explanation of each lab.
