I was searching for references on graffiti art when I found this book. It was exactly what I was looking for. It explains the step by step process of creating letters and adding design and color. It also has vocabulary definitions for those unfamiliar with the art. Truly a great tool I included in my lesson plans when teaching students about urban art.
I was looking to have a bit more examples for lettering, but overall the techniques in the books covered all the different styles and tools, and was helpful on shading,painting, ect. Nice sturdy book cover with overall good art.

I use this book as a teacher, and my students are inspired by the visuals found inside this book.It works great in tandem with the graffiti coloring books. A great resource for enthusiastic teenagers who want to create artwork with graffiti influences.
this is a great smaller sized, and ring bound book that comes in handy , is easy to read and follow for anyone looking to start becoming a Graff writer the new school way... an instructional book.. HA ironic but true
